WHAT WE DO
Volusia County covers two very different building environments. Along the Atlantic coast and the Halifax and Indian rivers, homes face hurricane winds, coastal flooding and salt air. Inland, in West Volusia’s DeLand, Deltona and the St. Johns River corridor, fast growth is creating demand for new, attainable homes on larger lots. We build for both.
Coastal Volusia
In Daytona Beach, Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach and Ormond Beach, we design to flood-zone elevation requirements and coastal wind loads. Many beachside and riverfront lots need engineered foundations, impact-rated windows and doors and corrosion-resistant materials. Recent storms, including Hurricanes Ian and Nicole in 2022, showed how vulnerable older coastal homes can be.
West Volusia
Deltona, DeLand, Orange City and DeBary offer more affordable land and a short drive to Orlando. Lots here range from city infill with utilities to rural acreage needing a well and septic. Some areas have karst geology, so we review soils and sinkhole history where it matters.
